Little bit of an Orchid

*wipes boots on doormat and holds out a housewarming gift of good coffee and tasty homemade cookies*

Firstly, thanks to moondoll for starting this community. It's been a long time since I've used an LJ-style interface, but it's lovely to be back with it again :)

Since we appear to be introducing ourselves, I'll stick a toe into the water and say hi. My account is named after my favourite self-created Sim, and I play a heavily-modded Sims 3 game. I love gritty realism in my Simming, most of my Sims/characters are LGBT+, and I've been playing since the very first Sims release.

I'm possibly a bit different from other Simmers in that I have a core group of Sims that I subsequently shove into different themes and time periods, so I have multiple Valoises all over the place. I write a lot of stories, both short and long (many of them containing adult themes - again with the mods!) and have multiple 'verses going for all of my guys. I don't tend to write about my gameplay; rather I write first and then pose my Sims afterwards. (I do play as well, but that's just my own personal fun time. My 'public Simming' is all about the storytelling and the photoshoots.)

Below, though, is my favourite Valois: the rocker version. A hedonistic, foul-mouthed, lovable little horndog, he's in a relationship with a guy called Gunther (uh, yeah... that Gunther; it's a long story!) and the four pics below show him at various stages of his life, from his early twenties just as he was starting to get famous, through to his late-forties when he's pretty much at Mick Jagger levels of fame. (And apologies to anyone whose journal style I'm about to wreck with a wider-than-usual image!)
